Living in Karlsruhe, I first tried adding to OpenStreetMap during a vacation on the island of Pantelleria. Now and then I add some roads and hiking trails from weekend trips, and at times I do some armchair mapping using satellite images (at this time mostly for Oman). I have also worked a bit with the arabic language pages in the wiki.
Noting the sad state of our map in much of the US, I'm currently helping a bit on the map of Montana, doing TIGER reviews and some aerial tracing.
