service=no for bridges

I don't think this is a good idea. It conflicts with other usage of the service tag (say a railway=rail service=siding crosses one of these) and isn't necessarily well-defined (although the initial thing being bridged may be gone, it may continue to serve an informal footpath or informal drainage). --NE2 08:19, 30 January 2011 (UTC)

Fair enough. What do you propose as an alternative? --RussNelson 21:53, 8 February 2011 (UTC)

I'm not sure that it's something that needs to be machine-parseable, so just note=nothing under bridge? --NE2 11:59, 9 February 2011 (UTC)
