A screen reader is a software that is used by visually impaired persons. It is a voice synthesysis tool.

Examples:

  • Nuance Talks (for Symbian OS)
  • Mobile Speak (for Windows Mobile)
  • VoiceOver (for iPhone 3GS)
  • JAWS (for Windows)
  • Orca (for Linux)
