The village of the object where it forms part of the address.

Villages are typically smaller than towns and larger than hamlets. It might be useful to use the addr:village subtag alongside the addr:city tag if the village is located near a larger town or city but not considered a suburb.

This key is commonly used in the United Kingdom due to nuances in that country's addressing system. In most other countries, use addr:city=*, even for places that do not have city status.
