Usually you will find flowerbeds in parks, pedestrian areas or at big highway interchanges.

They can be used to read map more easily or as POI ("Where I should take photo?"). Operators can calculate area of land-use to plan their maintenance more precisely.

Similar to other landuse tags, it should be used on areas. current nodes can be redrawn as areas


Even it is unlikely if it will be implemented in geocoders soon, you can easily clarify information about "We will meet in park" to "We will meet in park, near(south to) flowerbeds".
