The RMLL is the French international Free Software event aka Libre software meeting (LSM). This event is free and open to all. There, meet the main libre software developers and contributors with the users of their software. It takes place each year since 2000 and is powered by a lot of volunteers and sponsorship, now with more than 5000 visitors. RMLL provide technical support : university lecture hall, room, hardware, public communication. This year RMLL/LSM will take place on the University campus from 6th to 9th July 2010 and downtown on the 10th and 11th. This event version points about Sustainable Development.

Proposed venue

RMLL provide us access to University of Bordeaux I (ENSEIRB and MATMECA building), with facility : room, lecture hall, network. ENSEIRB offers 4 lecture theatres (with video projectors) and numerous classrooms (video projectors available on request).

The ENSEIRB students-driven cafeteria will be available for beverages and sandwiches if we can manage it by ourselves (the students will be out of the school at that period of time).

A special wifi network will be set up for the Libre software meeting duration with coverage of the whole campus (ENSEIRB, University, students accomodation buildings).

The CROUS (french for student live accommodation) can provide cheap lodging and lunch at noon.
