The tag military_service=air_force
is added to a feature to specify that it is used or operated by a country's Air Force, a military force that primarily conducts aerial warfare. It is to be used for all Air Force units, be they Regular, full-time forces, or part-time, volunteer Reserve forces.
- This tag is not to be used for such groups as youth-based Military Cadets, military historical or re-enactment groups, or Veterans groups.
How to map
Create an area around the grounds or a node at the centre and add military_service=air_force
to a primary feature tag such as landuse=military
or military=office
, to map a military establishment or facilities that is operated by a country's Air Force.
