Detected issues

Are the issues detected by osmlint-osmium and osmlint publicly available? If not are there stats on the amount of issues?

Yes, we'll update this page with osmlint-osmium and osmlint issues in a few days before the review process.

UK Alignment

Now might be a good time to point out to Mapbox that we now have an authoritative source for alignment in Great Britain. Cadastral Parcels. The OSMUK ran tile server will show up as a overlay in iD and JOSM.

Okay, thank you for this information!

Page needed renaming

This page has been created by someone from Mapbox and appears to have been created to describe their organised edits in the UK. The page name should reflect this, since lots of other QA activity takes place in the UK that is unrelated to whatever Mapbox are doing (which they have not dicussed with the community yet). The mailing list thread (where most discussion is) is at https://lists.openstreetmap.org/pipermail/talk-gb/2021-August/thread.html#27498 . SomeoneElse (talk) 11:59, 19 August 2021 (UTC)

It's now been renamed - thanks Pigsonthewing! SomeoneElse (talk) 13:10, 19 August 2021 (UTC)

What on earth is an "excessiverolestr"?

The "We used the following linters" is an excellent example of adding text to a document without actually conveying any meaning whatsoever. Maybe this is an extended performance art piece like https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sokal_affair with the OSM community as the butt of the joke, or maybe it is just really poor communication.
