Copper?
https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/w/index.php?title=Tag:material%3Dcopper&diff=prev&oldid=2948298 As person who has copper things at my house, I am sure about. (Copper oxide has specific appearance and colour) Something B (talk) 10:07, 27 January 2026 (UTC)
- @Something B: It looks like, but it would be good to have an image where this can be confirmed by some reference. Even so, sometimes it is surprising what they find when checking material in the lab.
- Maybe an image of unoxidated copper is the better default. --99 tabazan (talk) 10:19, 27 January 2026 (UTC)
- You may find better image, in meantime I will restore previous one. Something B (talk) 11:01, 27 January 2026 (UTC)
Postal codes in Canada
There is still too much of a risk of Canada Post suing the OSMF over postal code data in Canada. There was no court judgment stopping Canada Post from taking any further legal action against other unlicenced third-party aggregators of postal code data in Canada, and they can pull that legal trigger on us at any time. -- DENelson83 (talk) 19:41, 29 June 2026 (UTC)
- If you are sharing this opinion on behalf of OSMF, please note this in your update. If this is a personal concern of you, please refer the question to OSMF directly. There is a group tasked with such questions. Please don't spread FUD. --99 tabazan (talk) 21:40, 29 June 2026 (UTC)
- Does some legal basis for this exists? Something B (talk) 07:59, 30 June 2026 (UTC)
- @DENelson83: Are you suggesting that Open Database of Addresses files such as https://www150.statcan.gc.ca/n1/en/pub/46-26-0001/2021001/ODA_NB_v1.zip are unusable? Wynndale (talk) 16:33, 30 June 2026 (UTC)
- Please discuss this elsewhere. --99 tabazan (talk) 17:51, 30 June 2026 (UTC)
