No need for this tag

Tag route=train + passenger=suburban instead. Stevea (talk) 07:22, 5 October 2020 (UTC)

There's also an equally ambigious yet less intrusive service=commuter. I purport service=* to be a service content or pattern as in sleeper trains, as opposite to branching in usage=* and passenger flow in passenger=* currently. The problem with passenger=suburban is it doesn't handle circumferential routes, only taken to be radial. ---- Kovposch (talk) 07:26, 5 October 2020 (UTC)
Why doesn't passenger=suburban "handle" circumferential routes? Stevea (talk) 07:28, 5 October 2020 (UTC)
At least it's described as "connecting a town or city with suburbs" here. Maybe this is off-topic. I was only trying to point out the often radial nature of "commuter". ---- Kovposch (talk) 07:34, 5 October 2020 (UTC)

I'm not understanding you (or the point you are trying to make). So, I'll simply repeat myself: there is no need for this tag. Tag route=train + passenger=suburban instead. Stevea (talk) 07:36, 5 October 2020 (UTC)
