A bicycle cleaning facility, also known as a bike wash station, bike wash spot, or cycle wash point, is a designated location where cyclists can clean and maintain their bicycles. This can be professional bike wash facilities or dedicated places with water hose. These amenities are often referred to as bike wash areas, bicycle washing stations, or cycle rinse stations. Cyclists can utilize these spots to remove dirt, grime, and mud from their bikes, keeping them in optimal condition. Tagging such facilities in OpenStreetMap ensures that fellow riders can easily locate these convenient bike cleaning stations during their journeys.

How to map

Set a node Node at the center of the place or draw an area area along its outline and tag it with amenity=bicycle_wash.

If it is a dedicated amenity=car_wash where you can easily clean bicycles, bicycle=yes can be added.
