Usage

Short Answer: Don't.

Long Answer: See Talk:Tag:amenity=public building. Just tag it as building=yes or (ideally) use more specific tagging. Possibilities include amenity=townhall, amenity=library, amenity=police, amenity=hospital, amenity=school, leisure=sports_centre.

If the building does not fit in any of these categories, tag as public building. Example are buildings with belong to public administration: Social Security building, Local Administration buildings, "neighbourhood houses" with belong to administration....--Xan 18:41, 10 November 2010 (UTC)
