A ventilation shaft is the above ground site of a vertical shaft used in mines, tunnels, or buildings allowing stale air to leave the space underneath and/or fresh air to enter it.
How to map
Set a node 
at the centre of the ventilation shaft. Add the tag man_made=ventilation_shaft.
