About me

I study biochemistry at the Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf and started mapping for OSM in March 2008, mainly because I got a GPS navigator for Christmas and suddenly discovered that it was able to record GPS tracks ;-)

Mapping Area

My current mapping area is Southern Düsseldorf, especially Düsseldorf Hellerhof, a suburb in the very South of Düsseldorf. At the moment I'm trying to map the missing parts of central Düsseldorf. Fortunately there are Images from Yahoo Aerial, so it should be quite easy to map at least the main roads.

I've worked on the following areas:

• Parts of Düsseldorf-Benrath
• Parts of Düsseldorf-Unterbach, Vennhausen and Eller
• Forests in the South of Düsseldorf (Urdenbacher Kämpe, Garather Forst)
• Central Düsseldorf (Altstadt, Carlsstadt, Medienhafen, etc.)
• Parts of Wuppertal
• Parts of Langenfeld (Rheinland)
