This is an Introduction to OpenStreetMap and a mapathon as part of Africa Open Data Conference taking place in Accra from 17 - 21 July 2017, OpenStreetMap communities from Africa region, YouthMappers, OSM contributors & enthusiasts present will be having a mapathon to map a suburb of Accra. Participants will be guided through the online open curriculum, learning the theory and skills it takes to contribute to OpenStreetMap and also support a HOT activation before putting this into practice.
