SVRTA GTFS Import is an import of GTFS dataset which is of type (data type) covering eastern area of Greater Pittsburgh region. The import is currently (as of 2024-Sep-10) at the planning stage.

Goals

Import bus stops, routes, schedules, and gtfs:*.

Schedule

List the general timeframe of your project.

We plan to begin the import 14 days after all concerns have been addressed.

Provide a link to the data files you have prepared for import.

Import Type

We'll start with a one-time import. We'll look into automating it in the future.

Identify what method will be used for entering the imported data into the OSM database - e.g. API, JOSM, MapRoulette, etc.

Data Preparation

Data Reduction & Simplification

Describe your plans, if any, to reduce the amount of data you'll need to import.

Examples of this include removing information that is already contained in OSM or simplifying shapefiles.

We plan to map source attributes to OSM tags following GTFS.
