Azavea is a professional services firm that designs and develops custom geospatial software. They were founded in 2001 and have an office in Philadelphia, PA.
Azavea maintains OSMesa, a collection of tools for working with OpenStreetMap that enable large scale batch analytic jobs.
Azavea's products include Cicero, an API and database of elected officials and legislative districts; GeoTrellis, a geographic data processing engine; and DistrictBuilder, a free and open source redistricting tool.
