Thank you all who joined us at the 1st “OSMBD Community TownHall Meeting”. We would also like to thank those who registered & showed their interest to join us but unfortunately couldn’t make it this time. We missed your valuable thoughts & inputs during the meeting. However, it was a real pleasure to have an interactive discussion on how we can push our community ecosystem forward with a strong & inclusive coordination structure, great to hear the ideas & thoughts coming not only from Dhaka but also from Khulna, Sylhet, Rajshahi & Barishal. Overall, we can surely call it a fruitful one, as we have been able to take the decisions on founding an elected “Executive Committee” for OSMBD, initiating a “Membership Drive Campaign” & identifying a possible timeline for the 1st ever “State of the Map Bangladesh” in 2023! Hope we will be able to have more concrete decisions on- the “Scope & Role of Orders” for the “Executive Committee”, the Electoral Process & the Election Committee in our upcoming meeting on March 10, 2023, as decided during the meeting. Anyone who wants to join the next meetings please keep an eye on the group & mailing list for the instructions for registration & updates. P.S.: All our meeting minutes, session recordings, and draft documents will be open & available for you shortly. Feel free to add comments & thoughts to make sure your voice is also heard.

As per the decision from our “Community TownHall Meeting” on 04 March 2023, We are organizing a special meeting tomorrow, 10 March 2023, Friday, at 7:00 PM (GMT+6) as an extension of the Community TownHal Meeting. We hope we will be able to have more concrete decisions on- the “Scope & Role of Orders” for the “Executive Committee”, the Electoral Process & the Election Committee in our upcoming meeting.
