You need to read and agree to this policy before you can get a Dev Server Account. See also Using the dev server.
Requirements
- Directly OpenStreetMap related.
- Non-Commercial
- Preferably Open Source
- Don't be evil.
Strongly Discouraged
- Distributed Rendering / Computing
- Installing and making large web applications publicly available. (e.g. phpMyAdmin, MediaWiki, etc.)
- Own copies of the official Planet.osm from https://planet.openstreetmap.org/
Note
- You are responsible for the security of any applications you install or make available. (including web applications)
- You are responsible for the backing up of your applications and your data. The Dev Server is not backed up by the Operations team.
