Objective

To track and record the process of locking down certain elements of the Future Group's (FG) working strategy for future reference

Purpose, scope and end result of the Future groups work

Defining the Future Group Purpose

In order to define the actual purpose of the Future Group, it was proposed to use the Is/Is Not tool to gather the groups thoughts as they apply to what would and would not be addressed by the work of this group. This work can be viewed here.

The goal of this activity is to be able to provide a clear statement as to the purpose of the Future group.

The End Goal

It was proposed to also use the Is/Is Not tool to gather the groups thoughts as to what the end result of our work would look like and at what point our work ends. This work can be viewed here.

The goal of this activity follows on from the FG purpose by allowing the FG to state what our finishing point is and what the results of our work will be.
