The gvSIG conference is held each year in Spain. The conference is geared towards GIS software, more than geodata, though.
The Spanish chapter of the OSMF submitted a paper at the 2009 conference, to present themselves and the OSM project briefly.
The next conference is the 7th gvSIG, to be held in December 2011 in Valencia, Spain.
