Budget benchmarks

Per individual:

  • Inoculations (MapAction standard). $300
  • Insurance (HOT field package HMT). $436/15 days.
  • Return airfares to PaP
    • France-PAP-France. $1250 - $1750
    • US (Seattle/Washington DC)-PAP-US. $550 - $1150
  • Food. $25/day
  • Shelter. $40/day
  • Daily fees (MapAction standard). $300/day, 6 day on/1 day off.
  • Communication mobile phone traffic. $25/day/phone. $10.sim card
  • Total per 2 weeks time mission of a HOT team of 2 individuals: $12.500

HOT Hardware Kit (equipment to be donated to local partner on departure):

  • clothes: one ok (just ok, nothing suit) set of clothes (for meeting with Haitian high officials), the rest casual & almost ready to be trashed
