Default Project Instructions
A thorough discussion should include Blake. The general feeling is that the instructions have a sound basis but could be expanded.
Mapathon / Event Management How-To
Ralph submitted a checklist which should be linked to the document as odt- and pdf-document. Nick added a table of contents and a footer with a direct link to the top of the page. There is general agreement that the page should then be moved to the main learnOSM site. Michael will take care of this once he integrated the links to the checklist. He will investigate whether the footer can be added to a general layout file so that it is available on all documents.
Mapping tips for new users in learnOSM
NIck received some feedback and integrated it. Once he considers a page ready he will move it to the main site. Nick added links to HOT's series of tutorial videos on YouTube. Andrew offered help in adding subtitles for further languages and Nick would like to use Transifex for translating them.
The current state on the staging site should be transferred to the main site. Michael will take care of this and stated that this is just one specification in a configuration file which can easily be modified later.
Quick Access Menu in learnOSM
Michael will transfer this menu to the main site. Currently it will retain the links to subheadings of the remote-tracing document. They might be replaced by links to the new mapping tips once they cover the most important topics.
High-Quality Images in learnOSM
Nick will investigate ways to add a link to existing images which will show a high-quality version. Currently a maximum width of 500px is hardwired into the stylesheet for the learnOSM webpage.
