Which script to use

Clarification needed: According to Wikipedia article, Devanagari is the most commonly used script for Newari language at the moment. Is it correct to assume this tag will always be written in that script? --Yurik (talk) 00:39, 27 March 2019 (UTC)

Not sure where I am supposed to reply. But there is a strong movement to use Ranjana script for Newari. It is the script used most often by Newars during wedding invites and also Newari books. However, the lack of script on most people's computer probably means Devnagari is used online. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Gaurav Thapa (talkcontribs)
@Gaurav Thapa: when you see name:new=*, which script do you expect to see in it? Or is it ok to use all possible scripts there? (which would be a bit strange IMO). --Yurik (talk) 06:29, 27 March 2019 (UTC)
I would expect to see devnagari as I don't think Ranjana script is available in unicode. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Gaurav Thapa (talkcontribs)
