Block number identifier when part of an address. Used for example in Japan[1].

Block in this case refers to area between roads.

Note that this is a different tag from addr:block=*, which is a different tag used in countries such as India, Egypt, and Kuwait, where it is common for blocks to have names rather than numbers. This could be thought of as similar to the distinction between addr:housenumber=* and addr:housename=*.
