mechanical is a tag applied to boundary data in Colombia (see https://taginfo.openstreetmap.org/keys/mechanical#map ) in 2012 (see https://taginfo.openstreetmap.org/keys/mechanical#chronology )

It is unclear why it was added (see say https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/11745109 )

This tag makes sense when applied to changesets.
