As for mapping recent optical-to-the-households (FTTH) local loops components, identifiers should be used to link them to any other public dataset. This ref is for optical local loops only. For legacy French copper ones, see ref:FR:PTT=*.
This key allows precise identification of several elements of the network and those references may be public/usual and added to OSM. Its purpose isn't to copy Orange own reference but to provide ideas to map responsibly.
