Status: undefined

Companies and organizations sometimes have a post office box (P.O. Box) to receive mail instead of to their physical address. The value should contain the box number by itself. Other parts of the address go in other contact:*=* tags. For example, set contact:postcode=* if the mailing address's postcode differs from the physical address's postcode (addr:postcode=*).

Regional considerations

United States

Some post offices used to allow designations other than "P.O. Box", such as "P.O. Drawer". The USPS now considers these designations incorrect, preferring "P.O. Box". Use contact:pobox=* even if the POI still uses one of the older designations. [1]
