The key railway:pa-135=* indicates that a railway track is equipped with the PA-135 automatic train control system.
PA-135 is an inductive automatic train protection and operation system developed by Interelec/Matra for metro operation. It uses a trackside programme strip to transmit speed and control information to the train. The onboard equipment supervises train speed and can initiate braking if the permitted speed is exceeded.
