Loadstone GPS is a free non-graphics satellite navigation software originally developed for the discontinued-since-2014 Symbian Mobile/phones using the Series60 platform, and now for iOS. Although Loadstone-GPS is a useful navigational tool for everyone, it is particularly useful for blind and visually impaired people using screen readers (e.g. Nuance Talks).
There is an online converstion tool [1] and an offline conversion tool to transfer .osm files up to 8 MB
to the loadstone import format (.txt).
Loadstone works with nodes only and imports POIs and crossing nodes from OSM.
With Loadstone-GPS blind persons are enabled to contribute to OSM by collecting tracks. See OSM for the blind.
