Scholarship Information
About the Scholarship Program
The OSM Kerala Community believes in inclusivity and the importance of supporting community members who might not be able to attend the meetup due to financial constraints. Our scholarship program is designed to help these individuals by covering part, if not all, of the costs associated with attending the event. Though we are aiming to support attendees from Kerala and nearby areas due to the limited resources, we will try to support others also based on their contributions.
What the Scholarship Covers
Depending on the needs and the application, the scholarship may cover:
- Full Scholarship - Travel and Accommodation costs.
- Partial Scholarship - Travel costs
- Partial Scholarship - Accommodation costs
Who Can Apply
Anyone involved in the OSM community who feels financial support would make it possible for them to attend the meetup.
How to Apply

- Submit by Oct 27th, 2023 : Ensure your application is submitted by the deadline. Late submissions might not be considered.
Selection Criteria
Applications will be reviewed based on:
- Demonstrated involvement in the OSM community
- The potential impact of attending the meetup on the applicant's future contributions to the OSM community
- Financial need
Notification of Selection
All applicants will be notified of the outcome by Oct 28th, 2023. If you are awarded a scholarship, further details on how the funding will be provided will be shared at that time.
