Rationale

Snowmobile trails are trails (paths) specifically designed and established for snowmobile use. They can be used all year round or only during winter. If used all year they are used by pedestrians and bikers. Surface can be paved, gravel, or cutover vegetation over dry or wet ground. Many snowmobile trails are state sponsored and snowmobile club maintained.
