Proposal talk:RegattaCourse

• This suggestion is pretty much rowing oriented, isn't it? For example, while sailors have regatta courses, a white, filled, area would not be so appropriate, but rather have one single black lane of where a course goes. Also is it really necessary to indicate each lane seperately? Do we have to go to that level of detail? I would rather have the renderer fill in some lanes automatically with a stripy background, or, if need be have an additional tag lanes=5 on the RegattaCourse things. Of course then the renderer needs to know in which direction a course goes, so it can't be a pain area. It could be drawn just like riverbanks though, with only the parallel sides of the course marked as one way or so. --spaetz 13:52, 31 May 2007 (BST)
