The Feature Page for the approved proposal Convenience store is located at Tag:shop=convenience

A convenience store carries a small subset of the items you would find in a neighborhood market, ranging from single-serving food items to OTC medications and small auto supplies such as fuses. Some also have fuel stations attached and fast food or service delis inside.

Examples of these in the US would be 7-Eleven and AM/PM.

Proposed key: shop=c_store

Proposed key: shop=convenience

Some possible sub keys:

amenity=fuel
amenity=fast_food

Discussion

I think the "c" is too ambiguous, and store is a synonym for shop. how about shop=convenience? --Hawke 02:13, 15 June 2007 (BST)

There are quite a few others I know who say 'c store' ... A couple hours later, the idea hit that it should be changed to shop=mini_mart, but I figured I'd let it ride a day or two before I changed it. --Cohort 09:40, 15 June 2007 (BST)
I also vote against the c shortcut. I'm not a native speaker (well, of course I am, but my mother tongue isn't english :) . Convenience would be understood much better by non english speakers. --SlowRider 22:47, 15 June 2007 (BST)

shop=convenience will be understood in many countries, English-speaking or not, such as Japan. Ã yes vote from me. MikeCollinson 10:04, 16 June 2007 (BST)
