Proposal

I'm proposing adding designated queue paths to OpenStreetMap because they appear on roads and beside theme park/water park attractions.

Rationale

There's a lot of uses for queue paths on OpenStreetMap, I'm honestly surprised they haven't added it yet. Entrances to theme parks or zoos could use this for a road by using car=yes. This Wikipedia article explains it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Queue_area

Examples

Probably a few, maybe more, at every zoo/state fair. Likely a few dozen or more in theme parks/waterpark. https://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=19/36.07201/-115.02554

Tagging

For amusement park entrances:

highway = queue_area

motorcar = yes

foot = no

For roller coaster lines:

highway = queue_area

motorcar = no

foot = yes

Applies to

Nodes for small queue paths and Ways for larger queue paths.

Features/Pages affected

Paths page and attractions page.
