The advacement in technology such as Web 2.0 has pushed for revolutionary methods of sharing and computing data by crowdsourcing such as OpenStreetmap. Crowdsourcing collects huge data with help of general public of varying level of mapping experience. Due to which generated map data may be contains lot of inconsistancies

To use the data for navigation, the map data must be free from errors. We have analyzed the OpenstreetMao data of India for logical inconsistancies and found that, it requires a comprehensive cleaning to be used by prefessional vendors. For removal of errors, during this work various topology algorithms are used.
