|The tag is used for a ''Fußgängerüberweg'', colloquially known as ''Zebrastreifen'', a pedestrian crossing with zebra markings. Pedestrians have priority over road traffic. It is accompanied by traffic sign VZ 350-40. Unlike the UK, there are no zig-zag markings on the approach or flashing lights ("Belisha beacons").
