Jehovah's Witnesses are a restorationist Christian denomination. The places of worship for this denomination are called Kingdom Halls, and tend to be tagged with a corresponding name such as name=Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in English.

Rendering

Since the cross (the suggested default rendering for Christian religions) is an objectionable symbol for Jehovah's Witnesses, renderers might use a more generic worship symbol when this denomination is tagged. For example, the kneeling in prayer symbol used in Carto.

Other options considered in discussions on this topic are generally seen as unsuitable. The letters JW have been suggested to match the JW.org logo displayed on all Kingdom Halls regardless of local language, this was rejected mainly due to its textual nature. The WatchTower symbol was also proposed, but is generally not featured on the buildings themselves and there may be some copyright considerations. An open book representing the bible (used in some publications and videos) has not yet been proposed, but an argument against would be its similarity to the symbol for a library. Since Jehovah's Witnesses do not use any symbols in worship, the generic prayer icon is currently accepted as the best option.
