This tag is one of several suggested for tagging churches belonging to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The tag can be ambiguous as the term "mormon" is used colloquially to refer to any church or group within the 
Latter Day Saint movement such as the Community of Christ. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints discourages the use of the term to refer to the church itself or any of the splinter groups [1].
