The Knafelc blaze, used to mark hiking trails in all of former Yugoslavia (Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia...). It was introduced in 1922. by Alojz Knafelc, a Slovene cartographer. It is most commonly represented by a white dot inside a red ring, although different variations exist.
