Too much area=yes information

This page should mostly be just talking about the idea of looping a way around and back on itself to form an area, as used in the straightforward case of landuse area building areas etc. It's a sort of pseudo-element and so this page forms part of a family of wiki pages. Node Way Relation etc.

Currently however there's an overbearing amount of information about the complicated edge case of the area=yes modifier. In my opinion that should be covered here, but details should be on the Key:area page

OK, so you are suggesting that stuff that relates to using the area=* method should be covered on that page and stuff relating to the multipolygon method on that page and keep this page for more general stuff about areas? Makes sense to me. PeterIto 13:54, 24 February 2012 (UTC)
