Incomplete project ideas

GSoC tasks need FOSS developers as mentors, and backing from the project's maintainer. Unfortunately, some of the project ideas listed here were still lacking these prerequisites. As we've entered the student application period, I've moved these tasks to the incubator subpage. If anyone can help finding suitable mentors for them, I'd be happy to move them back! --Tordanik 16:08, 28 March 2019 (UTC)

@Tordanik The GoMap-Project just received a mentor. Could you review and move it back to the list. Thanks --Tordans (talk) 06:10, 29 March 2019 (UTC)
Ah, that's good! I've sent a quick mail to bryceco (the GoMap!! maintainer) to make sure that he actually wants his project to participate, but as soon as I hear from him, I'll move the project idea template back. :) --Tordanik 17:36, 29 March 2019 (UTC)
Got the confirmation, the GoMap!! project is now back in the main list. --Tordanik 22:04, 29 March 2019 (UTC)

@Tordanik: I am searching for my suggestion of "Subscribe to changes for a region I know well" but cannot find it on this Project ideas page. It was there while back (Version) but I think you removed it in your big cleanup (Version/Change). Am Where can I find the text currently (except in the history)?

It's on the incubator subpage, along with the other projects that were moved due to lack of devs willing to mentor them. --Tordanik 11:22, 4 May 2019 (UTC)
Thank Tordanik, apparently I just did not find that page. Should we maybe link the Incubator page(s) in the category indexes? Like Category Category:Google_Summer_of_Code_2019 and Category:Google_Summer_of_Code_ideas? I think the page name and content makes it clear that those are unfinished ideas so IMO its does not have a disadvantage.
Sure, good idea! I've added the categories! --Tordanik 18:23, 7 May 2019 (UTC)
