Do we really still need to have the info about running JARs when there is Java Web Start and Windows installer? I don't want to delete it myself as I'm quite new to the wiki so I just added the newer information. --V0174 (talk) 15:08, 4 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Web Start deprecated

Per Oracle, Web Start is deprecated in Java 10 and will be removed from Java 11. They suggest using jlink as a replacement. Is anyone looking at this yet? StephenTX (talk) 00:21, 15 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
