Alleys?

What value should I put for an alley? There is an alley going from one street to another, leading through a courtyard with cafes and shops. This restaurant has French sitting (two chairs on the same side of the table; as thin footprint as possible) along the wall of both sides of the alley. Total width of the alley is maybe 2–2½ metre.

Is this sidewalk or pedestrian_zone, or perhaps I should introduce outdoor_seating=alley? –Christoffre (talk) 11:41, 20 May 2025 (UTC)

Bench only

What if the shop has a bench immediately outside of its door presumably owned/operated by the city. What is the best way to tag this? - Osmedit (talk) 22:33, 18 October 2025 (UTC)
