I suggest tee=<NUMBER> to follow the in-place coloring schema. The number would be in yard if the contry the course is in is using that on the golf course and in meters if it is used on the golf course. HuggeK (talk) 08:35, 14 April 2026 (UTC)
In regards to multiple tee´s in one area
Should we say that it is ok to map some tee with the tee=yellow;red paradigm? Seing that the iD editor is already presenting to the user the option for multiple values like this. HuggeK (talk) 21:09, 8 June 2026 (UTC)
- I am of the opionion of not becuase it will be really hard to consume the data becuase of it can be both integers and colors. HuggeK (talk) 21:10, 8 June 2026 (UTC)

TODO fix iD preset
Now the iD preset shows "Tee Color/Type" and example colors. Make a pull request to the preset to dissuade people of using the name tag and that the tee "color" could also be a number. HuggeK (talk) 21:28, 8 June 2026 (UTC)
