'Group name' columns

The first column already contains the group name. I would purpose to remove the extraneous name column. Is there a reason not to do this?

The first column is prefixed by an @ due to the template Template:Signal_user made by @Wicking. The group names on Signal are not usernames and not addressable by an @-name. Is there a reason to keep the @ symbol in that template?

Yes, that's true. Seems useless. I don't know why it's there. I just copied the template from some other messenger. I don't understand right now what the idea of this could be. Feel free to remove it. Wicking (talk) 20:47, 6 June 2026 (UTC)
