Grid boxes vs. clustering
Maybe mention Pic4Carto grid boxes vs. top level marker clustering pros and cons. Jidanni (talk) 01:01, 13 May 2018 (UTC)
- I don't know how this can be mentioned on the page. However, the reason of using grid boxes here is to avoid retrieving complete data on low-zoom levels, to make results appear faster. Also, using a regular grid gives a clean display of pictures density, where marker clustering is not always appreciated from expert geographers. So reason of the choice is mainly technical, but also offers a better rendering IMO. --PanierAvide (talk) 07:01, 13 May 2018 (UTC)
Project is not dead
apparently the project is dead. The website is not reachable anymore. How can we deal with this.

- UPDATE : it looks like the project is not dead. The website came back to life
