This is unuseful proposal, because we already have the destination_sign relation. Let's just add good elements of this proposal to it.

Keys "foot", "bicycle" and member "destination" do not overlap with tags of destination_sign, so they may be easy added there.

A bot can change your entries automatically. Otherwise we'll have to support two similar variants in renderers and convertors. That will complicate software. --Surly 18:54, 25 August 2010 (BST)

No one has, to date, presented anything that consumes either of the relations. Nor has anyone suggested that they would. Until that time it would be outright vandalism to convert them - make a dozen (split) copies, if you must. Relations are adopted by use and the wiki voting on tags wasn't ever thought to be necessary for relations. Alv 20:05, 25 August 2010 (BST)
