There are currently 32 nodes tagged amenity=rescue box. Most of them are in Germany. My intention along with the emergency cleanup project is to review them, rename them to emergency=rescue_box along with this definition page. --Polarbear w (talk) 20:46, 16 September 2017 (UTC)

Move scheduled for 26 Apr 2018, retagging announced here.--Polarbear w (talk) 11:11, 18 April 2018 (UTC)
I know this is your modus operandi but that doesn't mean it is acceptable to "announce" a change on a talk page that nobody is following and then when you get no response to simply execute the change because nobody complained (which is clear. because nobody saw your announcement). Please discuss these things on the tagging list first (there is an incredible amount of such wiki fiddling by you that is getting to the point of being really annoying). Simon, when any of my edits annoys you, it would be helpful to discuss them at their specific location. Blanket accusations do not help. For this case, would you kindly consider the following:
The tagged object is a special-interest item typical for the Elbsandstein mountains (tiny boulders from the Swiss perspective of course). With two exceptions, all thirty-something mapped nodes were located there. Consequently the edit was not discussed globally, but within the affected community, the link is in the announcement above. There was encouragement on that list. Thus it is untrue that it was announced only on this wiki page. More generally, the so called "emergency cleanup" is not my idea, but it was recently criticized that there is too much announcement and too little action. This item here was one easy to solve.--Polarbear w (talk) 23:01, 27 April 2018 (UTC)
