Hole reference for pin

The original Golf Course proposal included a ref tag for golf=pin. Should this be considered best practice? There are certainly benefits to including this data with the tag, but the wiki page does not mention it. [[User:Dsfarc|Dsfarc] (talk) 20:04, 6 October 2025 (UTC)

I would say that would be duplicton of the same data. we already have it on the way that is the hole. And as you sayː the ref= would refer to the hole ref. HuggeK (talk) 18:45, 31 May 2026 (UTC)
